“People and Masks” Exhibition at the Interpretative Center of the Battle of Castelo Rodrigo

The exhibition “People and Masks” by Vítor Sá Machado will be open to the public at the Interpretative Center of the Battle of Castelo Rodrigo, starting this Friday, May 16th.
This exhibition focuses on the role of the mask as a tool used throughout history in different contexts, namely as a symbol of theatrical art, and portrays the work of Vítor Sá Machado in creating these props for various theatre companies such as Barraca, Teatroesfera, Teatro Variedades, Teatro Acert, Teatro Oficina and Teatro D. Maria II.
The artist Vítor Sá Machado currently lives in Escalhão and dedicates himself to various forms of art such as sculpture, watercolour, ceramics and caricature.
